Oh Wow, where to begin? Performing Magic In Vietnam was initially a concern of mine; How does their culture value Magic and Illusions, Are there certain behaviors to show respect and honor, Would communication be difficult?

You’ll be able to see how Vietnamese Kids and Adults alike enjoy Magic in the videos below.

I’ve learned that the Vietnamese appreciate Magic and Illusions, which you will see in the videos posted below. I’ve learned that a simple nod is required to show respect to our elders and that we should expect the same from those younger than us.

The weather has been beautifully accommodating to venture out and about in our magical discovery of such an enlightening geography and culture. Scooters are the favored mode of transport – there are hundreds of scooters!

I’ve loved Vietnamese food pretty much forever and continue to be amazed and inspired by their culture.

Whenever I travel to a new place, it’s sort of a ritual to download and watch the Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations episode if one exists for it (either he’s been everywhere by now or I just go a lot of places he’s been, I guess). No Reservations is one of my favorite shows and I always try to hit up at least one of the places Bourdain visits if I can help it.

Fortunately, Vietnam happens to be his favorite countries on earth and he’s actually done three episodes there; “Vietnam 2“ is devoted almost entirely to HCMC.

Tammy and I have found the food and beverages to be remarkably delicious and consequently have become quite indulgent.
