Established in 1988, Paymon’s Mediterranean Bar and Grill is a local gem you need to check out if you have not yet. Located on Eastern & West Sahara, this hookah lounge/restaurant is a great place to have a unique meal. It’s also a fun place to hang out for a couple unique cocktails with your friends.
3 choices of hummus…yum!!😀
The appetizers are a variety of delicious, mouth watering selections that will get your taste buds jumping with options like lightly breaded Fried Calamari topped with grated parmesan cheese and served with spicy marinara sauce. If seafood isn’t your style, than go more towards a middle eastern vegetarian starter like a delectable falafel with a mixture of chickpeas, fava beans and fresh herbs. If you are not sure what to choose, not to worry as there is a Combination Platter for your group to sample various vegetarian dishes including Hummus, Tabouli, Stuffed Grape Leaves, falafel, cucumber dip, Baba Ganoush, and Athen Fries.
The Gyro Salad is a must to try, I enjoyed the multiple flavors consisting of fresh vegetables, romaine lettuce, olives, Greek dressing, gyros meat and tzatziki sauce on a large bed of green
Entrees are well portioned to share or enjoy by yourself such as a selection of broiled beef, steak, lamb or chicken kebab that is served with vermicelli pilaf, basmati rice, sautéed vegetables and onions. If you are feeling something else to share with friends during your course, try out a brick fire pizza which is a must at this location.
Fresh made pizzas are cooked in a open fire oven, one of my favorite dishes at this establishment
During my visit, while enjoying the tastes overwhelming my senses, I took in the décor while sitting back in the hookah lounge enjoying a specialty blend flavor tobacco that filled my lungs with a aromatic breeze that went well with my meal. There are a selection of cocktails to wet your whistle if you are not too hungry, be sure to drink responsibly and take in an appetizer to compliment your drink of choice! Whether you want to get out for a fun day in the town with your significant other, or go out with a group of friends, I recommend this friendly fun resturant. Paymons has served the Vegas community for the past 30 years. Who knows, maybe we will bump into each other and connect next time you visit.
